More busy weeks :)

Hey everyone, sorry it's been so long since my last post. I really enjoyed my week at Agape and a weekend camping afterwards. And a week with no extra activities was nice last week. This week I'm helping at our churches soccer camp. I am really looking forward to it. But not the early mornings :( Right now it is 6:19 am. Yes this really is me blogging at 6:19 in the morning. Only because I woke up at 5:30 and couldn't get back to sleep so I decided to do this rather than lay in bed doing nothing. I'm an assistant coach this week so I will not have to do so much coaching (good thing because all I know about soccer is to kick the ball in your net. Oh wait maybe it's the other teams net :p ) I will probably get to do bathroom runs and help keep the kids focused and in control.

School starting

So yet another year of school started Tuesday. I'm already tired of school :( This is not going to be an easy year. This year I'm in grace nine. Sometimes it feels like yesterday I was five then other times it feels like I've been alive fire century's. Ok maybe not quite. My normal (if there is such a thing in a homeschoolers vocab?) routine is wake up at 7:20 :( Then shower get dressed etc. Then an episode of Good Mystical Mornings on YouTube :) Then breakfast and Bible with my mom and sister. After that starts my real school day of Abeka DVDS. Bible, Geometry, English. Then lunch. After lunch my lighter subjects science, health, and typing. Then a TON of homework. Yes, homeschoolers do get homework! And I have a lot of friends who would stand with me on that one. We are babysitting two boys that go to our church after they're done school so the bus drops them off around 3:10. I babysit them until my mom gets back from getting my brother from school. Then more homework and supper. Then finish ho rework and free time finally :) Ok so maybe a little exaggeration but any Abeka DVD student would agree with me that I was somewhat close in my description. So needless to say I'm exhausted. But I still stayed up late last night on Google +. I was just having lots of fun reading home school posts and hanging out :) Maybe tonight I'll be a bit smarter. (I said maybe) Tonight was an orientation at John's school so I'm home alone :) It hasn't happened in too long that I have been home all alone so it has been a nice evening to read blogs and Google + posts :) So how has your school been going? Are you homeschooled, go to a public or private? Well, I think that is all for now. Hopefully soon I will have more ideas for this blog. Talk to you soon:)

I'm back

Hey everyone

So I'm going to start by apologizing for not writing for like two weeks. But I've been pretty busy lately. I had an amazing time at AWANA camp!!! I have so many great memories of times with friends during the day and talking past lights out :) But I was really tired by the end of the week. Surprise surprise since I was lucky to get 6 1/2 hours of sleep some nights. Starting on the 22 I was helping at a VBS at a church near our house. That was fun but also a lot of work. This past week I've been studying and doing tests that I didn't get done this year in school. Next week I'm working at a Bible day camp. I will have to get up at 6:30 all week! :( But I'm sure it will be a lot of fun and I'm doing it to serve God not myself. Please being praying for all the staff and campers that we will have a safe week without to many problems. So tommorow I will try to have something about my week at camp :) I realised again how much I rely on my kobo arc for entertainment and more. Yesterday it wouldn't  turn on and I knew it had been fully charged just an hour ago. So I left it on the charger all night and most of today. Well, it eventually started working again but I realised how much I used it. I would think 'oh I should email so and sof' oh I'm in my room and my kobo isn't working. 'Oh I should finish my pack I list for camping' oh it's on my kobo. So nneedless to say I learned how much I relied on it and I know I need to change that a bit and spend less time playing with it and more time with God and doing other profitable things. Well, I think that's all for now. Goodnight and God bless.

goodbye

Well, I'm leaving tommowow for AWANA camp! :) My mom and worked almost all day packing clothes, food, and other random stuff. I am so tired right now, but it is a good tired because I worked hard and got a lot done today. I think (really I do) that we are packed except for what can't be packed till tommorow. The trailer it full! Well, ok not quite but most of the storage space is. We are planning to leave between 9:30 and 10:00 am. We will be early to camp but that won't be bad because it is my brothers first year so mom and dad can get him settled before they have to leave. I am really excited about seeing my friends again and learning more about God and the Bible. I hopefully will have some message notes and challenges for everyone when I get back. What are some of the camps you've been to or are going to? I would love to hear about it in the comments. So goodbye and I hope you have a great week. I'll be back to blogging on the 21st. See you then! Goodnight and God bless you.

Wednesday 10 July 2013

Hey everyone

Sorry to have not written all week. I have been very busy with studying and getting ready for camp. My parents and youngest siblings are going to be camping near the camp so we have all their stuff to pack which is a lot of work. I am about half packed. Now I'm waiting for laundry to get washed to finish up. Today I made cookies and pancake mix for their camping. A d I rolled 4 sleeping bags and got them back in the original bags. Yes, it is possible to get sleeping bags back into their original bags. It just takes time, lots of floor space, and patience to sit there rolling tightly. I'm just happy that I did it :) So not sure what to say :p I think tommorow I'm going to post some recipes for the baking I've been doing. Well, I guess that's all for now. Goodnight and God bless.

My sunday

Watching Mr. Bean right now. Such a weird show. Make no sense but is still funny. On a co ercial break and already seeing adds for the Olympics. Well, we went to church this morning. Being in the nursery was fun. Emery is so cute! And so is Aaron but he is my brother so I'm with him all the time. So yesterday we made tie die shirts and they look amazing! I will post pictures as soon as they are taken and uploaded. Unfortunately the camera on my kobo isn't working so I can't upload them from here. Hopefully I can get an exchange on it since it is only a few months old. Tommorow is going to be another normal day. Studying to get my tests done, cooking, babysitting..... And blogging:) I going to think of some more ideas tonight so hopefully I will have something cool tommorow! Well, it's late so goodnight and God bless you.

Saturday 6 July 2013

Goodnight and a link

It's come to the end of my day. I'm laying in bed typing away listen to WDCX. Any one else listen to that station? Tommorow is Sunday and church for me and my family. I'm helping in the nursery so I get to look after my I'll brother and another adorable little girl. All of us who are going to AWANA camp next week will also go on stage and I think someone is going to pray for us. I am so excited for camp! We leave Saturday and will be gone for one week. So that means I won't be posting during that time. But don't worry I will be back with a full report and will hopefully be refreshed spiritually and maybe have more ideas for this blog. Right now I want to share a couple links to my favourite website right now. http://godlygirlsforgod.com/ It is a place for girls to come and learn more about God and encourage each other. The forums are so much fun whether we are just chatting, playing forum games, or talking about real life situations and our spiritual journeys. I hope all of you girls check it out. (If you haven't already:) Well I need to go check my Google + stuff before I fall asleep here. Talk to you tommorow, goodnight.

Welcome!

Hi everyone,

Thank you for coming to my blog. I will start by saying that this is my first blog and I'm just learning so please be patient with me! Also I will be mostly posting from my kobo arc so please forgive misspellings and any poor format. This is going to be a blog about my thoughts, ideas, and passions. I will also hopefully be writing some blogs on fashion ( what girl's blog would be complete without it?), modesty, and some devotions. I will start by telling a little about myself. I am a 14 year old girl. Some call my normal, some call me strange. Some just don t know what to call me :) I am a christian and have been since I was 7. My home church is Bethel baptist church st. Catharines. So you guessed it, I live in st. Catharines ON. I an also homeschooled and will be going into grace 9 in September. My favourite thing to do is spend time with friends. When I can't do that, which unfortunately is quite often, I enjoy cooking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and reading. Sounds a bit different than the typical teen girl right? Well, I'll tell you now that I'm not a typical teen girl but I do still enjoy doing some typically, stuff like playing games on my kobo or spending endless hours online reading blogs. (Maybe not so normal.) I still go through the same problems as many teen girls, boys, boys, boys... and growing up. Girls, it isn't t easy! Any girl who thought growing up was easy and all chocolate and ice cream was WRONG! Of is chocolate and ice cream, with the calories that then need to be burned off. Speaking of food, it is lunch time here and I'm hungry. So excuse me for now while I go eat something.

Hope you enjoyed this blog post. If you have comments about it leave them in the comment box below but please be nice. No bad language will be tolerated. Feel free to ask me some questions in the comments too and I will reply or answer them in the next blog. Or maybe both. Any way now that I've totally boreded you out (homeschoolers are allowed to make new words and use them) I will finish. Thanks for reading, good bye.
